	Gladiolus grew up in the Edelweiss castle. He had his needs attended to and pretty much everything was done for him. He was forced to learn how to be a proper princess and eventual queen. 	His whole life changed when he found a suit of armor and claymore hidden in a secret corridor in the castle. He decided to put on the suit of armor, take the claymore, and run away one night. His plan was successful. The whole kingdom searched far and wide for Peony Edelweiss, but they could never find her. 	After escaping, Gladiolus was left homeless until he found a rundown house far from the Edelweiss Kingdom. Once he entered, he found out the house was alive. They then developed a symbiotic relationship. Gladiolus would provide food and friendship to the house, and the house would provide housing to Gladiolus.
